Llorca – Forgive Me Love (Naked Naked)
Having made a name for himself with releases on Church, Dummy Records and 2020 Midnight Visions following a stellar debut for left_blank in 2011, Lorca returns with his biggest release to date on Breach’s Naked Naked imprint, fitting in nicely with the swung, bass-heavy house of labelmates Mak & Pasteman and Dusky. “Forgive Me Love” makes great use of a mournful vocal with its booming bassline and crisp rhythmic maneuvres which come with a generous helping of Four Tet-like melody, while “Naoko” takes things even further into peak-time bass-house territory with its fluttering rhythms and restless keys.
