From the soft, sensuous soul jam “May My Love Be With You” to the jazzier vibraphonic leanings of Ayers’ “Get On Up” via an incredible dubbed-out, near-instrumental swagger on “I Should’ve Loved Ya”, not only does it join the dots between dancefloors of the last 40 years, but also showcases Dave Lee’s boldly broad production – and selection – style.
