The HOUSE KITCHEN loft party series \u2014 a concept built around exclusive events featuring artists you would never normally hear\u2026 in a loft kitchen!<\/p>\n
The series continues with none other than DANNY KRIVIT.<\/p>\n
Danny Krivit is one of the most respected DJs and archivists in disco and house music culture. Originally from New York, he began his career in the late 1970s and quickly established himself as a key figure in the underground scene. Early on, he developed close ties with the community around the legendary Paradise Garage, where he befriended iconic DJ Larry Levan\u2014an influence that would deeply shape his approach to the dancefloor and musical selection.<\/p>\n
An obsessive collector and renowned crate digger, Krivit built an international reputation through his disco and soul re-edits, most notably with the celebrated Mr. K Edits series, which has become a reference point for DJs around the world.<\/p>\n
In the 1990s, he co-founded the legendary Body & Soul party in New York alongside Fran\u00e7ois Kevorkian and Joaquin \u201cJoe\u201d Claussell. The event quickly became iconic for its spiritual atmosphere, extended DJ sets, and celebration of soul, disco, and house music.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Krivit launched the 718 Sessions, another cornerstone of the New York scene that highlights vinyl culture, deep musical selections, and the communal spirit of the dancefloor.<\/p>\n
With more than four decades behind the decks, Danny Krivit has performed in some of the most prestigious clubs and festivals across the globe. His influence goes far beyond DJing: he is widely regarded as a guardian of the disco and soul legacy, helping preserve and reintroduce countless classics to new generations of DJs and dancers.<\/p>\n
