Said freq-mod go-to first made its name by donning boom-bap drum programming in jazz clothing, but with this latest serial venture, the format has since exploded into an all-genre extravaganza; it&#8217;s got hip-hop foundations sped into Afro-Cuban uptempo territory, and guest vocalists from Jerald Daemyon to T Howard Wazeerud threading poetry through the grooves.
