It featured vocals from Sophie Jones. The subsequent hype lead to Island \/ 4th &#038; Broadway signing the group. However, other commitments meant Sophie could not stay with the group and so a new recording of &#8220;Real Love&#8221; featuring Dee Heron on vocals was made and became a hit. Three years later new vocals by Kimberley Peer were used on a re-release that also charted.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years the original Sophie recording, which was championed by KISS FM on the original 12&#8243;, has become massively in demand on both the Modern Soul &#038; Northern Soul scenes.
