The third and final instalment of the ‘Codes and Metaphors’ series has New York producer Fred P saving the hardest cuts til last. ‘Amazing’ channels the spirit of Moroder with analogue 808s and gurgling arpeggiated synths, it’s a mean slice of dancefloor primetime. ‘Love is blooming’ is rich and sensual, sweet vocals breathlessly repeating the title over dark key-work and deep basslines. With the deep jack of ‘Even Greater’ and a mix of ‘Love is blooming’ thrown in, this EP is the finest of the three, these tracks being the highlight of the resulting album compiling the series. 7/10 Chris Todd
