Gerardo Frisina continues to push his trademark sound’s boundaries by blending traditional sounds like Latin jazz, funk, and soul with modern, cosmic, and futuristic elements.
Since the release of Moving Ahead in 2020, Frisina’s musical evolution has reached new heights. His latest project, ‘In Sight’, is a double album conceived and produced in two separate volumes.
In Sight Vol. 1 is now unveiled in all its glory, maintaining a strong connection to the clubbing scene. The only exception is “O Soñho,” a slower-paced bossa nova track that evokes a cinematic atmosphere.
The album also features an exclusive instrumental version of ‘Samba Skindim’, the title track from his acclaimed 2009 10” EP. This track, cherished by both listeners and Frisina himself, is reimagined here, adding a nostalgic yet fresh touch to the collection.
