This track was created by Bluey producing the Japanese five-piece mixture band Kroi. Kroi is a five-piece band primarily active in Japan, presenting a mixture of musical styles that sublimates influences from all genres including R&B, funk, soul, rock, and hip-hop.
Kroi performed at the music festival “The Great Escape” held in Brighton, UK in 2025. During this time, the band members actually traveled to Bluey’s studio, “Colibri Sound Recorders,” to record. While each member’s playing remains as strong as ever, the added percussion and brass sections, inspired by Bluey, bring an unprecedented richness to the sound. The track possesses an overall mature, subdued atmosphere while maintaining a beautiful, contemporary and light feel.
In Japan, they’ve drawn crowds exceeding 10,000 at solo concerts and gained momentum through anime tie-ins. Their first single of 2026 returns to their roots, featuring a collaborative track with INCOGNITO and Bluey – artists who hold immense influence and deep admiration within their musical journey.
