Paul Hardcastle – Moovin & Groovin


Veteran artist and producer Paul Hardcastle goes back to his musical roots for this excellent album. Tracks like ‘Groove To The Music’, ‘Boogie Down’ ‘Unlimited Love’ and ‘The Hardcastle Hustle’ owe more than a nod to the likes of the Salsoul sound. Later tracks like Nu Vibes have more of a mid 80’s dance feel, but this is a good album. This CD is very different from the more ambient sounding Hardcastle albums or the Jazz Lounge of the Jazzmasters sets.
