As part of Ugly Music’s 25th Anniversary celebrations the one and only Joe Clausell has remixed Underground Evolution’s ‘Soul Searcher’. It is impossible to hear this one and not know Joe is behind it because of the way the whole mix is flooded with intense sound – percussion, keys, squealing leads and emotive vocals. It was and will remain a Body * Soul classic and the reverse has ‘Walk On Water’ which was the A side of the original. Part Chicago house, part New York house, it’s a sweaty and deep stomper with cosmic overtones.
